Press Release

In recognition of Franklin County’s own, the Wright Kids, making the final ten on the nationally televised NBC program
“America’s Got Talent”, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors and the Rocky Mount Town Council will hold a recognition
ceremony for the group. The event will be held at the Franklin County High School Auditorium beginning at 3:00 P.M. on
Saturday, October 11, 2008. The public is encouraged to attend this ceremony. Representatives from the County of
Franklin and the Town of Rocky Mount will be on hand to present a resolution to the group. As a special treat to those in
attendance, the Wright Kids will perform some of their favorite tunes.

“America’s Got Talent” is a nationwide talent search program viewed by an average of ten to twelve million per episode. The
Wright Kids made the final ten out of literally thousands of other aspiring acts that auditioned for the show. The winner
received a $1 million grand prize and a headlining slot in Las Vegas.

Sage, Baruch and Levi began their journey at an audition in Charlotte, NC and then moved on to Dallas and Las Vegas
before ending up in the final ten in Los Angeles. In addition to their hard work at the NBC show, the Wright Kids have also
recently released their latest CD, Playing on the Job. On this fantastic new album, Levi joins Sage and Baruch to sing three
part harmonies on 10 of the CD's 13 songs. Two songs on the project feature Sage and Mason's twin fiddling and one song, a
Doc Watson standard, features Baruch's fingerstyle guitar.
